Cheating Policy 


Cheating is defined as: 


1. Looking at another student’s test or quiz paper 

2. Using a “cheat sheet” 

3. Complicity in cheating 

4. Any form of communication during a test or quiz 

5. Stealing a test or the distribution of stolen test 

6. Student doing another student’s homework, project 

 or paper

7. Plagiarism 


Plagiarism-defined as the theft and/or use of another 

person’s ideas or writings as one’s own. 


Cheating Results: 


1ST Offense Consequences: 

1. F on quiz, test, or paper 

2. Telephone contact with parent 

3. Office Referral to Principal 

2ND Offense Consequences: 

1. Parent conference 

2. F on quiz, test or paper 

3. Suspension from school 

4. Student is placed on Disciplinary Probation 

3RD Offense Consequence: 

1. Possible Expulsion
